Tuition fees

EU / EEA students

In the Netherlands, students are required to pay tuition fees for each academic year. Due to the Dutch legislation, tuition fees can differ from year to year, per programme and per nationality. 

The tuition fees for students from EU/EEA-countries are €1984,- for the academic year 2016/2017.

The tuition fees for students from EU/EEA-countries are € 2,006.- for the academic year 2017/2018.

Please note that expenses relating to books and readers are not included in the tuition fees.

*EEA students = students from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland*, The Netherlands and/or the United Kingdom) *NB while Switzerland is not in the EEA, Swiss nationals have the same rights as EEA nationals.

Non-EU / EEA students

The tuition fees for Non-EU/EEA students who enrol in the academic year 2016/2017 as Bachelor students are €6,400,-.

Exception:

  • Students who are eligible for Dutch Loan scheme (student loans and/or grants) are also eligible to pay tuition fees of EUR 1,984 (academic year 2016-2017) as required by Dutch law. This must be requested by the students in question and specific documentation will be required.

The tuition fees for Non-EU/EEA students who enrol in the academic year 2017/2018 as Bachelor students are €6,500,-.

Exception:

  • Students who are eligible for Dutch Loan scheme (student loans and/or grants) are also eligible to pay tuition fees of EUR 2,006 (academic year 2017-2018) as required by Dutch law. This must be requested by the students in question and specific documentation will be required.
